Archological Museum, Amareswarswami Temple, Harsle Hills

Archological Museum :
By the side of the river Krishna and in a rural atmosphere Andhraprodesh government constructed an aspect of such ancient sculpture archeological Museum. Among the valuable collections here there are many aspect of various ancient sculpture of middle era engraved on stone. Many coins, Bodhitree of Granite stone, ‘Charka’ made of Granite stone, burnedclay pot all are used in ancient times, Hindu Goddes and image of Lord Buddha. It remans open from 9am to 5pm for general public Ticket Rs 2.00 only.
Amareswarswami Temple : It can be found on the bank of the river Krishna. It is very ancient. The art of painting on the wall of both sides and in front of the temple is very charming. It is said that Indra, the king of Godes established this phallic image of Shiva. It’s hight is about 15ft. In south India there is no other phallic image of Shiva so high. It can easily guess how much labour, time and presence of mind needed to make it cutting stone.
Buddhist temple and great shrine : Dhannyakatak the capital of Satbahan kings of ancient dynasty turned ruined. Indian greatest Buddhist shrine can be found by its side. According to the historians and investigators it was build about 200years BC. It’s sourinding path is 15ft wide and 14ft high stone wall. The architecture and sculpture can be found here. The lifehistory of Lord Buddha has been engraved on its body. But due to negligency it is about to ruined.

Harsle Hills : The hilly city Madnapally is the main attraction of Harsle hill. This charming hilly city sorounded with hills and covered with green is situated on 745mts. high, is one of the sanatorium of south India. Not only Andhrapradesh, but many diseased people of south India also come here for recovery. Here built a TB sanatorium.
