The Harsale hill sorounded with hills, wind of
evergreen forests of charming natural beauty calls the nature lover always.Such
name Harsale hill named about 150 years ago. Before it was known as Mallamar
hill. In the year 1857 during sephai Bidraha the collector of Chittur W.B.
Hersale came here for hunting with his friends. He was not only a hunter but a
nature lover also.
The Mallamar hill, valley, falls and deep green forest
and the charming natural atmosphere here thrilled him. In the year 1870 being
attracted he built here a small house of stone and make it his summer residence.
At present it is used to bet the tourist to stay. Gradnally Mallamakonda hill
known as ‘Horsle Hill’ according to the name of Harsle. After that, one after
another there built many large and small houses at present it is turned hill
city.
Nature study centre
: In harsle hill city, there opened a study centre
with a view to acquire knowledge regarding configuration of land, forest, structure
of soil, river and climate etc. Students from abroad come her for acquiring
knowledge.
Natural
environment : The Harsle hill and the hill city is
really a land of bliss to the nature lover. Not so high, on Halsle hil grown up
Pial, Chandan, Palas, Debdaru, Ukaliptas, Segun, Shal, Gulmohor and ever green
forest covered with hilly mango, Jam etc. Like a tep or snake narrow river
flowing with strong current and water falls which flows down through hill
enriched the beauty. The charming of hilly villay like green velvet is an extra
dues. If nature lovers once come in such a place inhabited with hilly sub caste
people could not eager to travel anywhere.
Tirupati : Tirupati is a famous place of sacred of Hindues and a busiest City
under the district Citture of Andhrapradesh. By the side of the hill
Chandragiri of the Purbaghat range of hills, the city is really charming. The
word ‘Tiru’ means Sri (beauty) and ‘Pati’ means husbound . So ‘Tirupati’ means
husband of beauty or most Charming. Really it is so charming sorounded with
hills and shaded with green forest that it can win the mind of any beauty
lover. It is about 7sq.km and its 4sq.km is Tirumala hilly area.
Tirupati is an old city. Once it was a part of
another district of Madrass. Later in the year (1956) it was deducted from
Madrass and connected with Andhrapradesh.
