What things to be seen Andhra Pradesh

What things to be seen Andhra Pradesh
Previously it is said that Rajmahendri is an ancient Pilgrimage of Southern India. Not only from Andhra Prodesh but also from other parts of India the devotees used to come here to offer their homage throughout the year. The Lingeswar and Markandaya temples on the bank of the river Godabari make the place so famous. In ancient religious books it is said the bath in Godabari one can acquire religious merit. Some of the writer of religious books things the Godabari is as holy as the Ganga. Thousands of people take their bath in this Puskar Thirta same as people take their bath in confluence of three streams (alebhad Ganga, Jamuna and Saraswati union) on every twelve years at Kumbha Mela. Sri Chaitannyadeb visited this temple and took his bath in the river Godabari.
The capital of Rajnarendra : In long past it was on the bank of the river Godabari at Rajmahendri. The capital, palace, wealth and splendour all have been ruined. Yet if you once visit such a historical important place you can feel that your mind is moving on the past.
Saptamukhi : On the bank of the river Godabari it is an excellent charming place with natural beauty. Here Godabari divided in seven stream and flows in seven sides which can not be imagined. Beside that the gathering of trees make this spot more charming.
Bhimeswar Mahadeb Mandir : About 30 km away from Rajmahendri there is famous historical pilgrimage Draksharam. In ancient mythology it is said that, Daksharam was the capital of the king Daksha. He arranged here the ablation of fire without shiba and became unfavourite of his son-in-law shiba. Due to anger Shiba appeared on ablation spot and disturbed it and began to runaway bearing lifeless Satidebi on his soldier throughout the universe. As a result in India appeared 52 famous places of pilgrimage.
Daksharam is known as South-Indian Kashi. According to many scholer people the place is called Draksharam from the word ‘Duksha Aram’. The famous ancient vimeswar mandir vimeshar Sibmandir is found here. The sculpture and architecture of the temple represent the artistic culture of Chole & Chalukka. It is heard that in the past Draksharam was a famous Buddhist pilgrimage. Later Adi Sankara Charya turned it Shib mandir after alteration of Buddhist Bihar and Chaitya. On the body of the temple there are more than 380 stone writing which is considered as valuable wealth to the historians and men engaged with research work. Up to Rajmahendri or Kakinara Railway station by train then 30km or 29km respectively by bus may be reached there.
