What things to be seen Worangle 

Worangle is 145 km distance from Hydrabad city. From Hydrabad on the north-east side at Worangle there can be found lake, temple, fort, minar. Worangle can attrack any traveler by it green Tawal and coconut trees. The remains of the fort of twelve century can be found at Worangle.
The things to be noted of Worangle can see by Taxi or Auto. In season share taxi can available. 28 no. buses also travel. In ancient time it was known as Hannas konda Pattanam. At that time he ruled over it. Someone called it as Arugala. Up to 11th to 13th century here ruled the kings of Kakatiya dynasty. Then their capital was Worangle. Padmavhi, Hannam Kounda and Siddhaswary. They decorated this charming place sourniding with hills as their own choise. According to some of the historins this dynasty named as Kakatiya (Durga),their family Goddess.

On 14th century the Tuglak ruler of Delhi attacked Worangle inspite of tremendous fighting the Kakatiya Hindu Kings could not defend the Tuglak emperor and could not save their freedom. Worangle captured by Tughlak. Tughlak emperor did not destroy the fort which was built by Kakatiya King Ganapatideb on 13th contury. The fort is still visible at Mantukonda, 5 km distance from Worangle city. It is not believable without seeing that, how it was possible to built it Stringing Granite stone with mud. To protect it there built two walls side by side. There was also a trench which was 22 mtrs wide and 17 mtrs deep. The palace in the fort built by Raja Protaprudra. At present the fort destroyed. The Gateway which was built copying of sachi is still remaining. There are four outer doors same as Sachi on four sides of the Gateway. Almost Ruined Eusila Mandir is also visible. It is worship till this day.
Honnam Konda Mandir : It is made of Granite stone and in 7km east from Worangle. It is known as thousand piller Mandir. It’s architecture and sculpture activities bears the instant of Chalukya customary. The temple was build by great pious Kakatia king Protaprudra on 1163 ad. There are two Nandy Murti on both sides of the temple made of red sandstone and with extra ordinary sculpture. Each are about 7ft high. Though it is said that the pavilion of the temple consisting of thousand pillers actually there are not more than three hundred only.
But the sculpture of every piller is attractive. There are there images of lord Mahadeb, Bishnu and The Surya on three sides of the pavilion. On the body of the pillers, ceiling and doors engraved image of Goddes shows the existence of attractive artistic skil. But apresent the temple is abandoned. No homage offered. It is engraved that the construction period of the temple is 1162AD.
Bhadra Kali temple : on the way of Hannam Konda temple there can be found ancient Bhadra Kali Temple on the hill. Though it is not so big its artistick work is really admirable. Local inhabitants believe that the Goddess is very live deity and they worship regularly.
Pakhal Lake : It is situated on the south-east at a distance of 50km from Worangle. It was build on 1300 AD. At the beginning of the winter there arranged picnic by the side of the lake at a charming natural beauty and surrounded with green forest. Here surrounding the lake there built “Pakhal Sangchuary”. In the lake there is boating arrangement. To the fish hunter it is paradise. One can get permission of catching fishes with fishing rod. Angling materials can collect at a nominal fare. Those who are extra energetic, there are provision of night-staying at Sarobehar Tourist rest house.
Palampet : It is situated at a distance of 65km North-east from Worangle. Surrounding with hills not so high, covered with evergreen forest and charming natural beauty. It is much attractive to nature lovers.
Ramappa Temple : it can be seen by the side of the Ramappa lake. In the 1234 AD it was built copying to the thousand piller tample of Worangle. The great pious Ganapati Deb, the king of Kakatia was its builder. This temple is carrying the instance of architecture and sculpture of middle ages of the deccan. Though it is not so big but it is build with Granite stone from top-to-bottom. It’s outside artistic works of the 3 walls fighting soldiers. Dancing female dancer, different musical instruments with their players and images of different God & Goddess are carrying the instance of the-then sculputer and their artistic works. The images that are found of roof and inside wall, all are based on different stories of Puran, Ramayana, & Mohabharata. Within its braket figure the artistic work twisted in three parts images of ladies can attrack the beauty lover tourist undoubtedly. In the inner-room of the temple there is phallic image of shiba of blackstone and is worshiped.
Rajmahandri : It is known as “Rajamandri” to the local people. It is an ancient city by the river Godabari and is also known as famous place of pilgrimage of southern India.
Where to stay : Rajmahendri is a famous Hindu pilgrimage. Here the main remarkable is Puskarthirtha. For this reason besides the southern India pilgrims from all over India used to come here throughout the year. So there developed many hotels of different quality.
