Jagaddalpur : Jagaddalpur is on the 1824ft high from land level and the gate way of Bustar, the sadar District of Chatrishgar. At a distance of 43km South-West of Jagaddalpur the branchriver of kangay flows down from 110m from Munagata creeted the Taritgar waterfalls and a natural charming. The another attraction of Jagaddalpur is kangerghat national forest. The forest is sq. km and there are Tiger, Leopard, Wild hog, rhinoceros, deer, chital and various unknown birds and through the deep forest flowing kange river.

CHATRISHGAR

The state Chatrishgar was formed on 1st November 2000. It was formed taking one third of thethen Madhyapradesh. The 44% forest of Madhyapradesh is the part of Chatrishgar at present. It is situated in the middle part of India. Of the state there is Jharkhand on North-West, on South-West Maharastra, on East Orisha and on South Andhrapradesh. No movement was organized to frame Chatrishgar like the states Jharkhand and Uttaranchal. As the Chief minister of Madhyapradesh was the inhabitant of Chatrishgar, at the time of formation of the state Madhyapradesh in the year 1956, no claim raised for the formation of the state Chatrishgar.

On July in the year 1960 Dr. Khubi Chand Bhagel, member of Rajyasabha of Congress claimed to frame the state Chatrishgar of first and from that time, claim raised to form Chatrishghar state. But by the name of Chatrishgar the credit of formation of political organization first goes to Sankar Guhaneogi.

Nandapur

Nandapur : It is the old capital city of Jepur. From Jepur Bus stand buses are departing towards Nandapur on 6.00 morning and on 3.00 noon and reaches at Nondapur on 9.00 morning and 6.00 evening respectively. The most attractive is throne of 32 steps. It was made in copying with the famous throne (32throne) of the king Bikramadittya. The huge image of Ganesh here is also attractive to the travelers. It is not believable that, whether it is possible to prepare engraving granite stone sucha huge image of Ganesh using only hammer, Wedge and chisel which is charming to look at and its artistic work.

Jepur : Jepur is not only an attractive place to visti, it is also famous for a business city. After visiting Koraput it is more advantageous to come here. Koraput is under the state of Orisha. It is largest district of Orisha situated on 350 to 900 mtrs. high from sealebel.

The most advantageous way from Jepur of Andhrapradesh to Bastar. From Jepur it is only 67km distance. Raypur is the middle station of Howrah – Nagpur Railway. From here Jagaddalpur may go by bus or from Howrah, Raypur may go by any train towards Nagpur. But the most advantageous train is Mumbai Mail (Via Nagpur).
Those who desir to visit Chitrakote water falls after visiting Jepur may avail the train towards Jagaddalpur on 3.30 noon. Time takes one hour 30 minutes.

By Bus : Buses regularly departing towards Jagaddalpur from Raypur at a distance of 272km koraput, Jepur and Bishakapatnam. Besides that Jagaddalpur may go by bus from Hydrabad, Bijoyara and Waltair. Again, there may go from different cities large and small of Orisha, Andhrapradesh and Madhyapradesh. From Jagaddalpur, Chittrakote is at a distance of 40km. By bus time takes one hour thirty minutes. From Jagaddalpur towards Chittrakote buses are departing on 10.00 morning, on 12 noon, on 4.00 afternoon and on 6.00 evening and from Chittrakote buses are departing toward Jagaddalpur on 7.25 morning on 8.25 on 1.00 noon and 3.00 afternoon. Gangadhara Waterfalls, Chitrakoat water falls

Gangadhara Waterfalls : At a little distance from temple of Nrisinghadeb the waterfalls can be seen. Through the evergreen forest and on zig-zag way a little stream flowing down the hill made a charming water falls. It is thought that it’s water has medicinal effective.
Chitrakoat water falls : Chitrakoat water falls is not in Andhrapradesh it is situated in the district Bastar of the 9th state of Chatrishgar on Orisa border. But it has an advantage to visit from Waltear, Jepur or Koraput of Andhrapradesh. It takes less time, labour and expenditure. In the district Bastar of Madhyapradesh the city Jagaddalpur is on 1825 ft. high from sealevel.

Things to be seen Simachalam

Things to be seen Simachalam : Earlier it is said that Simachalam is a famous Hindu Pilgrimage. Abatar of lord Vishnue came to the earth in disguise of Narasingha. Building there the temple the image of Narasingha is being worshiped. The structural system of the temple is really noticeable. Not as other temple it is a quadrangular temple. It was built assembling touchs stones and is prominently impression of Drabirian artistic skill fullness in respect of architecture and sculpture. The head of the temple is round in shape and it is resting on the 16 pilers. Offerings placed on Kalpamstambha barren woman become pregnant. Different stories of puran are engraved on the body of the temple.
It is said that, at first devotee Prahallad established the image of Nrisinghadeb. Then due to carelessness it was lost. After a few years while digging heaps of soil some one of Chandra dynasty recovered it. On the occation of Akshoytritia he again established the image and began to worship regularly. In the year 1268 by the order of the king of Bijoynagore present temple and the large house for dramatic representations and other things was built. The temple is made of valuable black touch stone. It is known that Srichitannya stayed here for a few days.
Spending a huge amount Rani Ahallya Baye made stairs consisting of 1120 steps from the foot of the hill and up to the door of the temple. Recently Andhraprodesh Government seized the temple and maintaining it.
There is a engraved image of Lord Buddha on the wall of the temple. Seeing it some think that it was a Buddhist shrine and temple in the past. Later by addition and alteration it turned into a hindu temple. In the inner apartment of the temple the image of Nrisinghadeb is being established and worshiped.

Simachalam travel By Train and Bus

Simachalam : Simachalam is a famous Hindu pilgrimage. Somebody know the place as ‘Singhachalam’. The word Singhachalam means ‘Hill of Singha’. On the top 245 mtrs high of Paschimghat range of hill it is famous for the temple of Nrisinghadeb.
How to travel : It is setuated at a distance of 12km from Bishakapatnam and 15km for Waltear. The temple is 5km at a distance from railway station.
By Train : Simachalam station is on the way of Howrah to Waltear. From station up to the temple can go direct by buses of Mandir Committee.

By Bus : From Waltear direct bus is available towords Simachal. Throughout the day a few buses are available towards Simachalam from Wartear Callector Chak and from bus stand attached to station. Beides Waltear from Annabharam, Kakukulam and other cities buses are traveling up and down towards Simachalam.

Panchabati Cottage

Panchabati Cottage : 30km away from Bhadrachalam on the bank of the river Godabari at Panchabati where making cottage Sri Ramchandra lived their forest life with Sitadebi and younger brother Lakshmana may visit the holy place. But you will have to be disappointed if you want to find out thethen ashramik environment. That cottage also not in existence. Instead of cottage there built a huge Temple. In it’s inner apartment there preserved and worshiped the images of Ram, Sita and Lakshmana. The structural skill of the temple is also remarkable.

Ramnabami’

The Biman lying on the top of the temple is 30 tons. On the extreme top of the temple there is lying a discus of Vishnu. It was found from the river Godabari.
In the seventeen century this teretory was ruled by Kutabsahi. An old man gopanna by name was chief of landed estate or property. He was devotee of Ram. Wityout knowledge of sultan he secretly built such a temple beautiful to look at spending 6 lakhs of rupees at that time. At this he was apprehended due to spending the rent collected by the name of Sultan and have to spend a long period in the jail. Kutabsahi kept him in the Golkunda jail for a long time. It was known that during his imprisonment one day suddenly an unknown Brahmin appeared in the court of Kntabsahi and repaid that 6 lakhs rupees. Gopanna was freed. The local inhbitants still believe that, Sri Ramchandra came in disguise of Brahmin and paid the dues of kutabsahi and freed him. Later on Gopanna was well known as “Ramdas”, devotee of Ramchandra and acquired much respect of his country men. Every 60 year there organized the ‘Mahasamrajja Patta Avishek’ festival. At that time marriage ceremony of Sri Ramchandra and Sitadebi arranged gorgeously. On the ocation of the festival not only South India, from different parts of India also the followers of Ram gather there in lakhs. The fair continued for a month. Every year there maintained ‘Ramnabami’ festival gorgeously. Throughout the day there occurred worship, prayer and also burnt offering.

Everyday the doors of the temple remain open from 4.00 in the morning to 1pm and from 3.00pm to 9.00pm for visiting of the devotee and affering puja.

Things to be seen at Bhadrachalam

Things to be seen at Bhadrachalam : Bhadrachalam is famous mainly for Ramchandraswami Temple, situated on the south bank of the river Godabari and on the hill top. The temple is made of stone. Though the temple is not so big, it’s architecture and sculptural skill is charming.
In rememberance of the God Sri Ramchandra and Sitadebi devotees built this temple on the top of the hill and offered their respect. In the Ramayana it is said that, on the bank of the river Godabari Ramchandra lived their forest life in the Panchoboti forest with his chaste wife Sitadebi and younger brother Lakshmana making there cottage. As ravana, the king of Lanka stole Sita and fled away to Lanka, Ramchandra being overwhelmed with sorrow in absence of Sita came here with Lakshmana in search of Sita.
Main temple is not so large. There are a few small temple all around it. All are made of stone. The Gopuram of the main temple is much high and the sculpture on its body is much astonishing to the present sculptors no doubt. On the body of the main temple there can by found charming artistic work.

In the inner apartment of the temple there staying and warshiping the stone images of God Sri Ramchandra, his wife Sitadebi and younger brother Lakshmana. It is really astonishing that, such images can be made engraving stone. Here Sri Ramchandra is fourhanded – arrow, bow, conch and holding discus in hand.

Buses are coming from Hydrabad 310km distance, Bijoyara 210 km distance, Khammam 120km distance, Bishakapatnam 400 km distances from Chinnai and Tirupati buses are coming to Bhadrachalam direct and return. From Bhadrachalam road station Bhadrachalam Temple and other places to visit is 45km. From Station complex, buses departing towards the temple regularly.

From Worangle towards vhadrachalam 3245 first passenger departing on 5.15 afternoon. It reaches at Donakal on 7.05 evening and at Vhatrachalan road station on 8.35 night.

Milikarjuneswami Temple, Sikhareswar Swami Temple, Bhadrachalam

Bus : From Bus terminal attached to Guntur station Buses are going to Srisailan at a distance of 215km. Those who want to go Srisailam after visiting Nagarjunknda can avail several buses throughout the day. They also get buses from Dornala 50km, distance and from Hydrabad which is 220km, distance towards Srisailam.Besides that large and small different stations of the state is connected with Srisailam by bus.
Where to stay : Previously it is said that, Srisailam is a famous secred place. It’s natural beauty also charmed the visitors of all ages. But there is no industry or famous business centre. So outsiders except visitors of religious minded do not travel here. For that reason Hotel industry did not spred here.

Things to be seen : Here on 1500 ft high table land is being worshiped phallic image of Shiva one of the 12th Jyotirlinga Mallikarjun. It is said that, Srisailam is one of the famous place of 51 pligrimage. For this reson also devotees come here in rows or in groups. In the ancient mythology of the hindu it is said that, the carriage of Mahadeb “Rishava” expiated here with a view to be freed from vice. Satisfying Shiva Rishava devote himself strict adoratio to obtain a bom. Being pleased by his strict adoration Shiva appeared befre him in disguise as Mallikarjun and Parbati Braharambha. It is heard that Buddhist mendicant Nagarjun lived here.
According to some of the historian research persons that, Tirthankar Rishavanath lived here for a long time and devote himself in adoration. With him a few followers also lived here. His influence being increased the place turned into famous Jain pilgrimage. Famous chinies traveler and patron of Buddhist religion Huen Sung and Fahien came here and lived here for fewdays. In their fravelling description mentioned about Srisailam and Rishava hill. Long days before coming of Huen Sung here there developed the famous place of pilgrimage of Hindu and Jaina religion and culture and the Buddhist as well in Nannamolai range of hills as Rishava hill.
In the Mahabharat also mentioned about this hill. But this hill of Nannamalai range of hills mentioned not as Rishava hill but mentioned as Srimountain.
Milikarjuneswami Temple : Here the river Krishan known as Pataganga. The Hindus believed that, a bath in this river is same as attainment of virtue of bathing in the Ganga. The Hindues’ most holy Mallikarjun swami Temple is situated by the side of Rishava hill and on the bank of the river Krishna, having holy water. The name of it’s builder is unknown. Due to renovation of the temple by the kings of Vijoynagore spending much money it is still undamaged.
In the front and the wall of both sides are 6mts. high like fort there is engraved skillfully different types of images of Mahadeb and in the inner apartment of the temple there worshipped the image of Nataraj, made of Bronch.
On the accation of the night fixed for the worship of Shiva, there maintained puja and other festival gorgeously. There is arrangement of fair also. Then many devotee from far and near take part in the festival. In the month of January there attin many devotee of Sankarnath Kallanam festival also. Anothr festival here is Telegue New year festival.
There are two marvelous water falls in the Hatakerharem a little distance from the temple. There are coming down by the hill and through the green forest dancing and rocking style just like a slim, restless and beautiful young lady.
Sikhareswar Swami Temple : Too much devotee canvisit the sikhareswar Temple on the top peak of Nannamalai range of hills at a distance of seven and half km from mallikarjunswami temple. Thouth it is not so high, it’s architecture and sculpture shows the prominent instant of Drabirian artistick skillfulness.

Bhadrachalam : It is situated on the South Bank of the river Godabariand is a famous place of pilgrimage full of natural beauty. Throughout the year more or less devotee assemble here for Ramchandraswami temple. They also gather here for its attractive natural beauty.

What things to be seen Nagarjunkonda :
Nagarjunkonda is an ancient Buddhist cultural centre.It’s establishment and prosperity began during the reign of Ikshubaku dynasty. It began to fall at the falling of Ikshabakhu.
At the 14th century there built a large and stronge fort sorounded with stone walls.
Open Rangamancha : Due to digging work on government cost in the year 1954-1961 it was possible to discover the remaining of an open Rangamancha. It’s adjacent area was 240 sq.m. At a time about one thousand spectator can see dancing or theatre sitting on the surrounded stone built galary.
Island Musuam : It is newly built. T was built at government cost to hold on the skil fullness of ancient architecture and sculptural works. At the middle of a tank this Island and on the top of the hill in a charming natural environment this musuam was built. From the begning of 2nd century the architectural and sculptural works of deferent periods preserved here very carefully. The architectural works of the Musuam building is also remarkable. It was built copying the Buddhist Bihar (temple). It remain open from Saturday to Thursday 9.00 morning to 12.00 noon and 1.00 noon to 5.00 afternoon. Friday closed. Ticket Rs 10.00. There is saystem to go to the island by speed boat.
Archiological Musuam : Here preserved the architecture and sculpture of 2nd and 3rd century Ikshubaku dynesty, various industrial work of Chalukka and Badami dynasty an instant of Buddhist sculpture. The main attraction here is charming sculptural artistic Buddha murti made of white stone. It remain open from 10.00 morning to 5.00 afternoon on Saturday to Thursday. Friday closed. Ticket Rs 10.00.
Nagarjun Sagar Dam : From Nagarjunkonda 11 km at a distance on Krishna river the Nagarjun sagar dam has been buit. It is the highest dam of the world and is one of the noted in this area. It is also one of the multipurpose river planning of India. It is more than 400ft high from the sealeble. It’s water tank is also large. It is build on 19000 hector of land and it’s water capacity is 6700 laks qubic litters. A large area of cultivated land is being irrigated here by digging two large canals on both sides of the dam.
The length of the dam is 4.800ft. The electricity made from this water used in different works of the locality it is also used as controlling flood. It remain open from Saturday to Thursday from 9.00 morning to 4.00 afternoon. Friday closed.

Arkvally : It is a place with charming natural beauty of Purbaghat hilly area. It is about 1300 mts high from sealevel. Generally such a beautiful valley like a picture sorounded with hill and gathering of green is not found. The climate here is also healthy.
